This website is about bringing accountability upon government by the grand jury.

HOT UPDATE: 04/07/2013  – California Libertarian Party Unanimous Resolution in support of the grand jury & against the NDAA.

Kelly Z. Mordecai attended the California Libertarian State Convention (April 5th – 7th) in Sacramento, and with the help of others proposed and gained support for a one sentence resolution.

Resolution: “We support grand juries investigating and indicting ‘willful misconduct in office by public officers.’”

The resolution passed with no dissenting votes (Unanimous.)  After passing, Mr. Mordecai was applauded by the delegate body.

For those in a state convention of any party, this is not easy to do.  Mr. Mordecai spent countless hours promoting this concept with a flyer, and personal discussion.

Several key Libertarians arose to support this, and it passed before the 59 delegates present.

WIDDLE-AWAY AGAINST THE NDAA: The California Libertarian Party also passed a 2nd unanimous resolution supporting California Assemblyman Donnelly’s bill to end “Indefinite Detention” as provided in the NDAA.   Assemblyman Donnelly’s bill passed committee 6:1, and will make its way to the California Legislature Floor for a vote.

Very possibly, California may stop “Indefinite Detention” threats against our liberties.  This is a state’s right to “NULLIFY” a federal law.  We shall see.

New Book Project:  While riding to the Libertarian State Convention, Mr. Mordecai wrote a kid’s book titled, “The Red, the Blue & You.”  Feedback from many others indicates their approval of the concept.

Sheriff Christopher gave me 1 hr., 20 minutes of his time.  This man, honors the Constitution, knows his duty to protect the citizens of his county; ie… from gun confiscation, by arresting state or federal agents.  However, the Delaware State Legislature passed a law stripping the county sheriff of “Arrest Powers.”   With the help of Attorney Carson Tucker, Sheriff Christopher has sued the State of Delaware to ensure his power of arrest; his power of protection.

Attorney Carson Tucker will be joining us as well on Thursday.

“Trial by Jury” & the Grand Jury as “SHIELD” & “SWORD”:

Below are images of grand jury indictments of government officials.  Even the Illinois State Governor- Blagojevich.

First a little more about the grand jury and its necessity: How in the world did the government of Nazi Germany murder over 20 million people*?  That nation lacked “jury protection.”

If you were accused of being a Jew in Nazi Germany, “your neighbors” would have protected you from genocide by:

#1: (Grand Jury) Not indicting you; or

#2: (“Trial by Jury”) acquitting you.

But these did not exist in Nazi Germany.

SUMMARY:  NEITHER JURY SYSTEMS ==> GENOCIDE.

In general, in America, suppose you are accused of a crime you didn’t commit.

1.  The Grand Jury (your neighbors) must first issue an INDICTMENT against you (not the government);

2.  “Trial by Jury” (your neighbors) ACQUIT you (not the government).

The founding fathers put these defenders of liberty in the “Bill of Rights”  (5th, & 6th Amendments.)  That is one reason why genocide is prevented in America- your neighbors will protect you!

Again, why are these so important?  In addition to Hitler’s Nazi Germany, Stalin’s Russia and Mao’s China murdered over 20 million people for a genocide total of over 60,000,000 (60 million) people.

This due to a lack of either jury systems.

The jury systems provide a level of accountability by your neighbors. The grand jury can refuse to indict you, and you won’t need to go through an ugly trial.  In Texas, a potential felony cannot be prosecuted without a county grand jury INDICTMENT.

This is the “SHIELD FUNCTION” of the grand jury.  (Starting by the Assize of Clarendon in 1166 by King Henry II of England.)

“SWORD FUNCTION”:  Now suppose that your neighbors can investigate government corruption or oppression.  Yes, indeed the grand jury can and has indicted corrupt government officials.  This power came to us through the Magna Carta in 1215 AD, at Runnymede England, and has been affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court over a dozen times.
